DORA DANCES FOR PRIDE – Frankfurt’s Queer Club Event for Christopher Street Day!
In 2025, Tanzhaus West will once again transform into a queer state of exception. DORA DANCES FOR PRIDE brings attitude to the dancefloor – with political collectives, lovingly curated sounds, and a crowd that celebrates itself just as it is: diverse, wild, loud and proud.
4 floors. 1 message. 100% love. In cooperation with Mitte der Gesellschaft, clubcherry, and Cake, we celebrate queerness, visibility, and electronic music – in all its colours and facets. Dress loud, dance proud!
THW x CAKE
CAKE – the community event for LGBTQIA+, FLINTA*, allies & friends – teams up with Tanzhaus West to host the THW Floor. Driving techno takes centre stage here ;)
Beste Hira blends classical music craftsmanship with hypnotic, fast, and dark techno. The queer artist from Istanbul, now based in Amsterdam, is known for bold, emotional sonic journeys beyond genre boundaries. Her sets are intense, intuitive, and full of dramatic depth. A fixture of Europe’s underground – from Vault Sessions to Berghain – she brings not just beats but strong values to the floor.
Laurine Philippe, a DJ and producer from Offenbach with Belgian roots, is a resident at Tanzhaus West and co-founder of the queer FLINTA* collective Clubcherry. Her sets blend dark disco, Italo house and techno with political edge and boundless energy. She also curates the YouTube podcast Landhaus Offenbach, spotlighting local artists.
DJ Felix is a rising artist from Frankfurt, combining driving techno with melodic elements. Her sets are known for their intensity and ability to captivate the crowd. DJ Felix stands for an inclusive club culture where everyone is welcome.
DORA x MDG
Mitte der Gesellschaft transforms the Dora Floor into a queer wonderland. Expect hot house and melodic techno baked fresh – and a glitter-fuelled resistance against queerphobia and exclusion.
nd_baumecker is a true icon of queer club culture – stylistically open, experimental, and deeply musical. Born in Frankfurt, his career began at the legendary Bar Romantica before he became a staple with Playhouse and WildPitchClub. Now a resident at Panorama Bar, he’s known for sets that weave house, techno, disco, electro, and pop – always surprising, always emotional. A beloved regular at DORA DANCES FOR PRIDE – more than a guest, he’s part of the family.
Boys’ Shorts, a queer duo from Greece, fuse house, disco, acid and slow techno into high-energy sets with a mission: We make people dance! Their sound is playful, sexy and empowering – club music as a queer expression of desire and freedom. Released on labels like HE.SHE.THEY. and Live At Robert Johnson, they tour across Europe, playing venues like Berghain and Lost Village. Remixes for artists such as Alison Goldfrapp, Boy George and Fischerspooner highlight their versatility. Their queer spirit doesn’t just resonate – it moves bodies, spaces, and boundaries.
From the heart of society to the FFM/OF underground and the legendary Panorama Bar – LUZIE always delivers. With love and an eye for detail, LUZIE fuses breaks, bass and technoid sounds into empowering sets – raw, emotional, and uncompromising.
And finally, Fra.u.mor – a queer DJ duo from Frankfurt, made up of Francesco Framor and Frau Laura. Their sets merge house, disco, and experimental sounds into something truly unique. As part of the Mitte der Gesellschaft collective, they create safer spaces for queer communities. Their performances radiate political conviction, energy and love. Fra.u.mor is an invitation to celebrate yourself and take over the dancefloor.
CAFÉ x CLUBCHERRY
The FLINTA* collective clubcherry, based in Frankfurt, supports female-perceived and queer acts in the electronic music scene and hosts the Café Floor.
Andrale shapes the Frankfurt scene with melodic, driving techno that blends dark disco and indie dance. A resident at Tanzhaus West and active member of clubcherry, she creates safe spaces for FLINTA* and queer communities. Her sets are powerful, emotional and deeply attuned to the crowd.
Motshabi, a Berlin-based DJ with South African roots, brings a blend of deep house, bass house, and tech house. Her percussion and samples reflect African influences. Her journey into electronic music began at Tanzhaus West in 2016 – now she returns with sunny energy. A homecoming with surprise potential!
Sam Aroha stands for infectious energy and captivating tech house and Afro house. Mixing groovy vocals, catchy melodies, and pumping basslines, she keeps the dancefloor moving. Her name “Aroha” – Maori for love and gratitude – echoes throughout her music.
