Avalon Emerson is kicking it up a notch in 2019. She's played at intimate clubs, massive festivals and everything in between. Now she's ready to pack lineups with her favorite fellow DJs and up-and-coming talents at top clubs throughout Europe and the US under the banner of 9000 Dreams. The event series will polish off a decade that saw the Arizona native rise through the ranks of the global underground on the strength of her releases for labels like Whities and Ghostly as well as her skills as a selector.

9000 Dreams will make multiple stops at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson nightclub throughout the year. The first features JASSS and nd_Baumecker.

JASSS is the alias of a Spanish DJ and producer known for her diverse and undogmatic tastes. She transmits this vision through genreless DJ sets, arresting live shows and daring original productions. She's been on tour ever since her debut album, Weightless, hooked wider audiences in 2017. Any given JASSS set could involve slow-motion industrial, dub and downtempo trip-hop, off-the-wall post-punk oddities, banging breakbeat techno, futuristic club tracks, synth pop or jungle. Although that milieu might seem distinct from Avaloncore, the two share a similar approach to combining disparate styles in sets that always win over dancefloors. They joined forces for a barnstorming back-to-back headlining set together at Mugako Festival in October 2018.

Baumecker has also played back-to-back with Avalon when they closed Panorama Bar alongside Roi Perez in 2017. He's played an important role in the history of German dance music since the 1990s. It all started in his hometown of Frankfurt, which at time was the epicenter of German techno and club culture. He served as a resident DJ at influential club nights in Frankfurt and Heidelberg before making regular appearances at Berghain's predecessor, Ostgut. In 2004 he moved to the capital city to join the Ostgut family as an official Panorama Bar resident and (for a time) the club's booker. In recent months he turned in the seventh and most recent contribution to the club's Panorama Bar mix series, a simmering exercise in energy control, depth and hypnotic rhythm that spans decades of house sounds.
