DJ & Producer from Cologne, Germany. Over the past years as a DJ playing for Lustig Wandern (@lustigwandern), he’s established himself as an integral part of Cologne’s underground electronic music scene.
Having played countless gigs at some of the finest clubs Germany has to offer, his residency at the famous Cologne-based club ‚Odonien‘ is probably the most important station in his career - his ‚living room‘ provides him with the musical freedom he needs to unfold as an artist.
Avocado’s trademark sound as a DJ ranges somewhere between Tech House, Deep House and Techno - he himself likes to refer to his sound as ‚Dark Tech‘. Sometimes more, sometimes less melodic, always groovy, energetic & dark. Despite his young age, Avocado‘s experience as a DJ enables him to adapt to any crowd - at any given time or place, Avocado knows how to drive an audience crazy.
EIK is the DJ project of Marc and Sophie, founders of the established Römertanz event series in Cologne, Germany.
During the Corona lockdowns in much of Europe in 2020 / 2021, they used the time when they couldn't manage events to acquire their first skills in DJing and creating sets. Since their first real performance in front of a larger audience at the Katzensprung Festival 2022, they can now be seen more often behind the decks. Their discography ranges from clubs in Berlin like Ritter Butzke, Sage Beach, Beate Uwe, to the John Doe in Amsterdam as well as to Cologne to Artheater, Nachtigall, Zimmermanns or Kunstbar.
The two rely on exciting up-and-down storylines and take the listener on a melodic journey, where house and technoid music are spiced with oriental and Indian sounds. Perfect for deep melodic progressive organic lovers!
